Fuica Films Picks Up Distribution Rights for The Bystanders

Fuica Films has acquired distribution rights for 'The Bystanders,' an indie British comedy about invisible immortals who watch over humans. Shot largely in London, the film follows Pete, a former chess runner-up recruited as a Bystander, and his cynical mentor Frank. The story explores their comedic rivalry as they compete for Bystander of the Year, swapping their human subjects and engaging in a deranged battle that goes awry. After their subjects' lives are ruined, Pete must win a chess game to bring Frank back. The film had its UK release in November 2023 and will be released on Canadian platforms in 2024 through Fuica Films Picture, in collaboration with Screenbound International Pictures.
